Iran exported 34,124 tons of non-oil commodities to Brazil during the first four months of the current Iranian year (started March 21), customs figures show.
According to the latest reports released by the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration on August 3, 34,124 tons of non-oil goods worth $14.894 million were exported to Brazil in the first four months of this year, Mehr news agency reported.
This registered a 25-percent rise compared to last year’s corresponding period, the report added.
The exported volume also marked an increase of 2,601 percent and 360 percent in tonnage and value respectively, compared with last year’s corresponding period.
Iran’s exported commodities over the four months under review included dried grapes, glass dishes and industrial and laboratory furnaces. Imported goods mainly include red meat and pepper.
