Online check cashing machines (CCMs) have been introduced in Uzbekistan since Aug. 1, the State Tax Committee of Uzbekistan stated.
The Ministry for the Development of Information Technologies and Communications and the State Tax Committee of Uzbekistan signed a joint resolution "On the procedure for conducting a pilot project for introduction of online check cashing machines that provide data on payments online”.
The pilot project was launched on Aug. 1, 2018 in line with the the document.
Fiskal Ma'lumotlarni Avtomatizatsiyalash Tizimi LLC is defined as the operator of the fiscal module of the automated control system over revenue in the sphere of trade and services.
President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed a decree “On measures to further improve the use of check cashing machines with fiscal memory” on Sept. 29, 2017
According to the document, modern models of CCMs with the function of online data transfer to the tax authorities had to be gradually introduced in Uzbekistan in 2018.
