Baku, Azerbaijan, Oct. 8
By Matanat Nasibova – Trend:
The existing production potential of the Azerbaijani Qakh Mineral-Su LLC fully meets the domestic demand of the population in Gakh, Baku and several other cities of the country, director of Qakh Mineral-Su LLC Jamal Mukhtarov told Trend.
“Therefore, the company intends to further arrange the export of products,” he added. “For this purpose, it is necessary to find potential buyers outside the country.”
"The company annually produces 1 million bottles of mineral water, but we can increase these volumes up to 4 million bottles,” Mukhtarov said. “It is more difficult to export mineral water than alcoholic beverages outside the country, however, we believe that this is possible. We think that people can be interested in our environmentally friendly products thanks to their taste and long shelf life."
Mukhtarov added that ‘Qakh’ mineral water can be stored for five to seven years and it does not lose the healing properties.
"We envisage exports to neighbouring countries, approximately in the first half of next year," he said. “The products manufactured by the company have a certificate of conformity issued by the State Committee on Standardization, Metrology and Patents of Azerbaijan.”
The company is located in Suskend village, Gakh district.
