The Iranian Cabinet of Ministers has approved the prices proposed by the Ministry of Agriculture for the purchase of tea leaves, cocoons and sugar beet, Trend reports referring to the Ministry of Agriculture.
In accordance with the decision, the price of the first grade tea leaves was set at 46,000 rials (about $1.09) while the price of the second grade tea leaves was set at 33,000 rials (about 0.78 cents).

The table shows the prices in the US dollars in accordance with the official exchange rate of Iran.
A number of products in Iran are purchased from farmers on a guaranteed basis. Thus, farmers supply their products to a state company and gradually receive money for the products.
