About $6.6 million worth of products were exported from Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari Province (southwestern Iran) during the first three months of the current Iranian year (March 20-June 20, 2020), Chariman of Industry, Mine and Trade Organization of Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari Province Sajjad Rostami said, Trend reports citing the organization’s website.
The weight of products exported from the province was 8,350 tons, Rostami added.
The chairman noted that the products were mainly exported to Iraq, Azerbaijan, India, Turkey Romania, Pakistan, Turkmenistan and Kuwait. A large share of the exported products accounts for household appliances, rubber products and dairy products.
Rustami noted that within three months, the export of products from the province was fulfilled by 11.5 percent of the annual plan envisaged for this province.
“It is planned to export $57 million worth of products from Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari Province in the current Iranian year,” he said.
The chairman stressed that during three months, the province imported production equipment worth $492,000.
