The exports from the Kerman Province (southeastern Iran) increased by 123 percent in terms of value and 208 percent in terms of volume during the first two months of the current Iranian year (from March 21 through May 21, 2021), compared to the same period last Iranian year, Director General of Kerman Province Customs Office Mohammad Reza Ghader said, Trend reports referring to the Iran Customs Administration (IRICA).
According to the director general, 63,300 tons of goods worth $135 million were exported from Kerman Province over the reporting period.
"The main exported goods were pistachios, copper products, oil products and ferro-molybdenum," he said.
Ghader emphasized that these goods were mainly exported to China, India, Germany, Iraq, Turkey, the UAE, Italy and Russia.
Moreover, $38.2 million worth of goods were imported to Kerman Province within the two months. The imported goods were mainly car spare parts, other equipment, spare parts and so on, the director general added.
Ghader noted that these goods were mainly imported from China, the UK, the US, Japan, South Korea, India, Malaysia, Germany, Spain and Italy.
