The raw steel and steel products exports of 14 Iranian steel companies increased by 48 percent, during the first six months of the current Iranian year (March 21 through September 22, 2021), compared to the same period last Iranian year, Trend reports citing IRNA.
According to the report, 14 companies exported 3.81 million tons of raw steel and steel products in 6 months.
These companies exported various types of steel products, including, billet, slab, steel alloy, fittings, sponge iron and so on.
The Khuzestan Steel Company was the largest exporter. So, the company exported about 904,000 tons of steel products in six months.
In addition, the Mobarakeh Steel Company ranked second with 620,000 tons, while the Esfahan Steel Company was third with 606,000 tons of steel products.
Meanwhile, in the 6th month of the current Iranian year (August 23 through September 22), 14 steel companies exported 438,000 tons of steel products. This is a decrease of 12 percent, compared to the same month last Iranian year.
