BAKU, Azerbaijan, January 18. Generally, Iran exported approximately 12.7 million tons non-oil products worth approximately 6.42 billion to Türkiye from the beginning of the current Iranian year (March 21, 2022) to December 31, 2022, a member of the international and foreign trade committee of the House of Industry, Mine and Trade of Iran Rouhollah Latifi said on social media, Trend reports.
According to Latifi, Iran's non-oil exports to Türkiye for the reporting period increased by 51 percent in value compared to the same period last Iranian year.
The official added that Iran exported mining, construction and petrochemical products worth $3.3 billion, various fertilizers worth $904 million, aluminum worth $573 million, copper worth $372 million and other metal products worth $297 million and agricultural products worth $142 million during March 21, 2022 to December 31, 2022.
“Meanwhile, the trade turnover between Iran and Türkiye amounted to approximately 15.5 million tons worth over $11 billion within the mentioned period. This is an increase of 35 percent in value compared to the same period last Iranian year,” he said.
