ASHGABAT, Turkmenistan, April 13. On Saturday, April 12, construction materials were successfully traded at the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan (SCRMET), Trend reports.
Turkish entrepreneurs finalized a deal with Turkmen business representatives for the purchase of Portland cement in various grades, including PS400-G0-K, PS400-G20-K, and PS500-G0-K. The transaction amounted to $5.32 million.
Additionally, on Friday, April 11, Turkmen entrepreneurs reached an agreement with the State Concern Turkmennebit for the purchase of road bitumen grade BND 60/90 and polypropylene grade TPP D 30 C.
Two transactions were concluded during the trades, with a total value of 8.5 million manat ($2.4 million).
Founded in 1994, SCRMET is a key platform in the country’s economy, overseeing export-import activities and ensuring transparent transactions. It supports trade in sectors such as petrochemicals, agriculture, textiles, and construction materials, while boosting international partnerships and attracting foreign investment.
