The Azerbaijani oil-development machine-building giant Azneftkimyamash said production will reach 39 million manat in 2009.
"Production was projected to hit 33.5 million manat in 2008. But we missed the mark by 7 percent," the company said.
Azneftkimyamash upped production by 25 percent in 2008 from the previous year.
Azneftkimyamash was formed on the basis of the state-run Azneftkimyamash after a March 2001 presidential decree. The company comprises 14 machine-building plants and four research and development institutions.
