The Canadian Thermo Design Engineering Ltd in the second half of this year plans to launch a facility for natural gas purification from hydrogen sulphide, preparation and production of liquefied natural gas with a capacity of one billion cubic meters, carrying out its installation on the Bagadja field in Lebap region, official Turkmen sources reported.

The project cost is estimated at $10.35 million, including VAT.
A facility with similar capacity already operates on the Bagadja field. As for the new facility, the installation work has almost completed. Foundation under the overpass supports, gas storage facility is under construction, from where the products will be delivered by pipeline to the terminal of refinery in Sadie city.
Turkmengaz State Concern reported that almost all liquefied gas from this region is shipped for export.
