The composition of the new owners of SOCAR Energoresource LLC, the joint venture of Russia’s Sberbank and private investors, hasn’t changed, Azerbaijan’s state oil company SOCAR told Trend.
“The composition of the new owners has not changed. According to the agreements reached between the shareholders, corporate structuring is currently underway to ensure maximum efficiency of operating activities,” the company said.
Speaking about the Antipinsky Oil Refinery, 80 percent of shares of which were acquired by SOCAR Energoresource LLC, SOCAR noted that it provides the project with institutional expertise.
“SOCAR is considering options for joining the project on the side of investors after conducting an audit of assets and evaluating operating activities within established corporate procedures,” the company said.
