Azerbaijan’s Ashgar Scientific and Production Association produce additives that allow transporting paraffinic oil products over long distances, the High Technologies Park of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences told Trend.
The appropriate work is carried out in Ashgar Scientific and Production Association, which is a resident of High Technologies Park of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences, to implement the results of research work of the Institute of Chemistry of Additives named after academician Ali Guliyev.
"Depressator AKI" additive created at the institute will allow transporting paraffinic oil products over long distances by lowering the freezing point. Such additives are produced in big volumes in Ashgar Scientific and Production Association.
"Depressator AKI" additive is intended for transportation of highly paraffinic oil (which is supplied at the Sangachal terminal from Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan) over long distances via the Baku-Ceyhan oil pipeline.
