On Tuesday the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) closed a tender on sale of profit oil Azeri Light from the Georgian port of Supsa. The shipment of 1 million barrels of Azeri Light oil (135,000 tons) from Supsa is scheduled for 3-4 January 2006, Trend reports.
This year the previous consignments with the similar amount were sold to Glencore, Arcadia, Unipetrol, Total, R-Trading, Select Energy and Tupras.
In January to November 2005 the AIOC, involved in the development of the Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli fields, exported 6,329 million tons of Azeri Light via the Baku-Supsa pipeline.
