Georgia will have a real opportunity to achieve tangible results in the field of innovation and technology in the near future, said Yitzhak Applebaum, co-founder and general partner of MizMaa Ventures, which is engaged in entrepreneurship, venture capital and corporate finance, Trend reports with reference to the press service of the Prime Minister of Georgia.
He made these remarks at a meeting with Georgian Prime Minister Georgi Gakharia who received the delegation of leading US investment funds headed by Applebaum during their visit to the country. As reported, these are the funds that are familiar with investment opportunities in Georgia.
During the meeting, the parties touched on the favorable investment environment in the country, the country's leading position in terms of ease of doing business and potential investment projects.
They also stressed the potential for transforming Georgia into a transit and logistics hub. It was noted that many projects of regional importance are being in the country to achieve this goal.
Furthermore, the parties discussed the prospects of launching new projects in the field of digital technologies and education, which will be aimed at developing entrepreneurial skills of young people.
