President Gurbangulu Berdimuhammedov stressed that interaction with the Russian Joint-Stock Finance Corporation (JSFC) will be beneficial and efficient while regarding priorities of socio-economic development of Turkmenistan which struggles for applying the advanced technology and using the best world experience, a Turkmen media reported.
The Turkmen president met with head of the corporation Leonid Melamed who expressed his great interest in developing multi-field corporation with the Turkmen partners.
Berdimuhammedov said the communication and telecommunication field plays an important role. Moreover, the president appreciated the activity of the Russian holding which successfully functions on the Turkmen market.
The JSFC is a giant diversified company in Russia and the CIS. The company is a key shareholder of MTS which is a giant mobile communication operator of Turkmenistan.
In Ashgabat, Melamed spoke about promoting some joint projects and noted a dynamic character of developing partnership regarding Turkmenistan's need in the most contemporary types of communication advanced information technology. The corporation is interested in applying information technology, producing domestic electronic, constructing engineering facilities, as well as trade centers, hotels, out-patients' clinics, schools and buildings in Turkmenistan.
Earlier, Berdimuhammedov expressed his desire on the corporation's participating in development of rich hydrocarbon resources on the shore of the Caspian Sea.
