An Azerbaijani delegation will attend the Universal Postal Union's (UPU) spring session, Azerbaijani Communications and IT Ministry told Trend.
As part of the session to be held from April 26 to May 13 in Bern, a meeting will be held between the working groups of communications departments.
The meeting will address urgent issues in the postal communications sector. Plenary meetings will also be held at the end of the session.
Azerbaijan is a member of the UPU supreme bodies - the Administrative Council and the Postal Operations Council. Membership in UPU-governing bodies provides member countries with the chance to influence the organization's decision-making process.
