The Azerbaijani government has approved the use of special control marks (holograms) in the products of intellectual property, the Copyright Agency of Azerbaijan told Trend.
At present, the agency is working on the preparation of operating mechanism to control the application of controlling holograms.
"The work on the preparation of documents on the base of which holograms will be applied is in the final stage. Practical application of holograms is expected in the near future," the agency said.
Special control holograms will be marked on the software products, packaging of medicines, book covers (including religious books), etc.
In general, it is considered that all products in Azerbaijan, including the subjects of copyright, related and other rights, will be provided with special control marks.
The controlling holograms will be provided to manufacturers of copyright products on the base of their request in limited quantities. Products distributed without these holograms will be considered pirated.
