The scientists with the Azerbaijani High-Tech Research Center have developed an improved carbon monoxide detector based on carbon nanotubes.
The new device is an improved version of the semiconductor detector developed by the center earlier, the center told Trend.
The device is capable of detecting not only carbon monoxide, but also other types of heavy gases.
The device will be demonstrated at the 23rd Azerbaijan International Telecommunications and Information Technologies Exhibition and Conference December 5-8.
According to the center, the production of this device in the country can be deployed after obtaining permission from the relevant organizations.
