The Baku State University is buying technical equipment for the high-tech center, a source in the university told Trend Feb. 19.
The university is in talks with global producers to buy laboratory, methodological, experimental and research equipment, the source noted. The source said earlier that a part of the equipment was already acquired.
The equipment supplies are planned until the end of this year, the source noted, adding that the high-tech center will be commissioned in 2019.
The center's seven-story building will be located on the territory of the university.
