BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 14. The volume of services provided by information and communication enterprises in Azerbaijan increased from January through July 2024, Trend reports.
According to Azerbaijan's State Statistics Committee, this indicator reached 1.9 billion manat ($1.1 billion), up 12.6 percent from the same time in 2023.
Moreover, the general public benefited from 74 percent of these services.
Revenues from mobile communication services in Azerbaijan amounted to 690.7 million manat ($406.3 million) in the reporting period (35.6 percent of the total revenues of the telecommunications market).
To note, last year, Azerbaijan's information and communication businesses generated 3.2 billion manat ($1.8 billion) in revenue, representing a 16.3 percent increase over the previous year.
