BAKU, Azerbaijan, December 18. Binance will further enhance its compliance efforts and maintain its leadership in user protection and security, with the goal of becoming the most trusted cryptocurrency exchange for users and investors to engage in the crypto market safely, said Richard Teng, CEO of Binance, Trend reports.
"Binance will continue to intensify regulatory compliance and lead the industry in user protection and security, striving to be the most trusted crypto exchange where users and investors can safely participate in the crypto market. Education will remain a top priority, guiding new users as they enter the market and learn about cryptocurrency.
The recent surge in Bitcoin's value has introduced cryptocurrency to new global audiences, and we are confident that more individuals will join the industry moving forward. At the same time, Binance will continue to drive product innovation, including advancements in artificial intelligence, while collaborating with a diverse range of institutions and users to ensure their secure entry into the crypto space," Teng said.
Teng also commented on potential changes in cryptocurrency legislation in 2025, predicting that the new US government, led by President Donald Trump, would drive further regulation in the crypto market.
"The elected president, Donald Trump, along with several pro-cryptocurrency politicians in the Senate and House of Representatives, is likely to bring about new changes in cryptocurrency legislation in 2025.
He will be the first US president to have multiple NFT collections and his own DeFi collection. The new US government in 2025 is expected to advance crypto regulation, which will encourage more active participation of cryptocurrencies in the market—especially from US traditional financial institutions (TradFi), helping to shape crypto legislation for other countries worldwide,” he added.
Binance anticipates 2025 to be another year of strong innovation and growth.
"We expect progress in all areas. In 2024, crypto regulation made significant strides globally, and this trend is likely to continue into 2025," Teng concluded.
