ASTANA, Kazakhstan, May 10. Kazakhstan's KazMunayGas (KMG, the national oil and gas company) and the Dutch Bluewater Energy Services B.V. signed an agreement on cooperation in future projects on remote mooring units, Trend reports.
KMG reports that Vice President of Bluewater Energy Services Michel Bonte and Chairman of the Management Board Magzum Mirzagaliyev signed the document.
The agreement aims to bolster Kazakhstan's efforts to expand its oil exports.
In addition, within the framework of the document, technical experts at Bluewater intend to share international experience, including training Kazakh specialists in the implementation of projects in the water area of the Caspian and Black Seas.
Meanwhile, KazTransOil JSC (Kazakhstan's national operator of the main oil pipeline) has transported 1.128 billion tons of oil since its founding in 1997.
The total volume of cargo turnover exceeded 825 billion t-km. In addition, 2,347 kilometers of sections and major oil pipelines were constructed or renovated.
KazTransOil is the country's oil pipeline operator. It is part of the KazMunayGas group, and owns a diversified network of main oil pipelines with a length of 5,400 km.
