BISHKEK, Kyrgyzstan, October 25. The Kyrgyz government is providing substantial incentives for large investors committing over $10 million to the economy, Bakyt Torobaev, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of the Ministers of Kyrgyzstan, said, speaking at the Bishkek Investment Forum 2024 (BIF), Trend reports.
Torobaev noted that these companies are exempt from VAT, sales taxes, and profit taxes. Additionally, the government is prepared to provide land for establishing production facilities.
He emphasized that the government will continue to create optimal conditions for investors to encourage their involvement in the development of Kyrgyzstan's economy.
Furthermore, Torobaev noted that the BIF is presenting numerous projects. Over the past nine years, around 20 projects have reached an international level, with a total implementation value of $186 million.
BIF 2024 serves as a key platform for discussing and addressing business and economic development issues in Central Asia. Since its inception in 2015, the Bishkek Investment Forum has become one of the largest events for business and investment in the region.
