BISHKEK, Kyrgyzstan, January 28. A 3.8 MW small hydroelectric power station will soon be constructed in the Kara-Suu district of Kyrgyzstan, Trend reports.
The agreement was signed between the Green Energy Fund under the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan and Kyrgyzstan's Kench LTD KG. The HPP will be constructed in the village of Chaychi, located in the Kara-Suu district of Osh region.
The construction will take place on a 2.46-hectare plot of land. Once completed, the 3.8 MW small hydropower plant will generate environmentally clean electricity to supply households, schools, medical facilities, and other social infrastructure in the region.
This initiative will alleviate strain on central power infrastructures, enhance energy availability for residents, and bolster the region's economic growth.
Kench LTD KG was registered in Kyrgyzstan's Ministry of Justice on November 22, 2021.
