DUSHANBE, Tajikistan, August 29. Tajikistan produced 1,407 tons of diesel fuel from January through July 2025.
Data obtained by Trend from the country’s Statistical Agency shows that
in juxtaposition with the corresponding timeframe in 2024 (1,872
tons), there was a decrement of 24.8 percent in diesel output.
Concurrently, the nation’s aggregate oil output escalated to 10,647
metric tons, reflecting a robust 20.5 percent increase from the
8,835 metric tons recorded during the January–July 2024 timeframe,
underscoring persistent expansion within the overarching petroleum
industry.
In aggregate, the industrial sectors and private entrepreneurial
ventures in Tajikistan generated a total output valued at 34.894
billion somoni (equivalent to $3.6 billion) during the January to
July 2025 timeframe, reflecting a robust 24.5 percent uptick
relative to the corresponding period in the preceding year.
Extractive output surged 1.7 times, and manufacturing rose by 6 percent, while electricity, gas, steam production, and air purification grew by 12.7 percent. Water supply, waste management, and recycling also saw a notable increase of 15.2 percent.
