(Turkmenistan.ru) - A large-scale action on the development of Ashgabat was held in the Turkmen capital which resulted in planting of thousands of young cypress trees in the southern part of the city, reports Trend.
On the eve of Neutrality Day marked by Turkmenistan on December 12 the municipal authorities have undertaken large-scale work on planting trees, gardens and park zones in the capital. Masses of people are mobilized for that on the voluntary basis.
Deputies of the People's Council, active members of the national movement Galkynysh, workers of organizations and establishments and students took part in the last Saturday's action. Employees of the capital's gardening service prepared a lot of flowers and saplings for planting.
