The number of transactions concluded by the Uzbek "Toshkent" Republican Stock Exchange in September 2021 increased by 63.5 percent compared to January 2021 (3,014 transactions), reaching 4,928 transactions, which worth 12.58 billion soums ($1.1 million), Trend reports citing the exchange.
During this period, the objects of transactions were 188.3 million securities of 60 issuers.
In total, from January through October 2021 the stock exchange concluded 47,581 transactions worth 988.02 billion soums (91.7 million dollars). At the same time, the largest number and volume of transactions were recorded in May 2021 (8.652 transactions worth 612.4 billion soums or $56.8 million).
The industry leaders in terms of the volume of transactions were the industrial, which is 32.14 percent of the total volume of transactions, and the banking industry, which is 26.17 percent of the total volume of transactions. The volume of transactions with securities of banks amounted to 3.3 billion soums ($306,300), with securities of companies from the industrial sector amounted to 4.04 billion soums ($375,000). The largest number of transactions was made with securities of banks, which amounted to 1,721 transactions. The smallest number and volume of transactions were recorded with securities of issuers from the communications, transport and insurance industries.
