TASHKENT, Uzbekistan, November 25. The volume of receipts through payment terminals in Uzbekistan reached 267.1 trillion soums ($20.9 billion) from January through October 2024.
The data obtained by Trend from the country's Central Bank shows that Aloqa Bank took the leading position with the highest volume of receipts of 39 trillion soums ($3 billion) during the mentioned period.
The second place was occupied by the National Bank of Uzbekistan, with revenue through payment terminals amounting to 19.3 trillion soums ($1.5 billion). Ipoteka bank rounded out the top three with 16.4 trillion soums ($1.2 billion).
Meanwhile, APEX Bank posted the least amount of receipts in the country at 6.5 billion soums ($509,610).
The volume of receipts through payment terminals in Uzbekistan reached 209.3 trillion soms ($16.3 billion) from January through August 2024.
