BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 8. Exports of Iranian non-oil products to Azerbaijan increased by 4 percent in value terms and 12 percent in weight terms during the 1st month of the current Iranian year (from March 20 through April 19, 2023) compared to the same month of the last Iranian year (from March 21 through April 20, 2023), the statistics of Iran's Customs Administration said, Trend reports.
According to the statistics, Iranian non-oil exports to Azerbaijan amounted to about $34.8 million and 63,400 tons by weight during the first month.
The statistics noted that in the same month of last year, Iran's non-oil exports to Azerbaijan amounted to 56,500 tons worth $33.4 million.
The information shows that Iran exported mainly agricultural and food products, industrial products, and petrochemical and chemical products to Azerbaijan.
However, Iran exported 9.7 million tons of non-oil products worth $3.17 billion in the first month of the current Iranian year. Iran's exports of non-oil products decreased by 16.9 percent in value terms and 9.66 percent in weight terms compared to the same month of last year.
To note, Iran's exports of non-oil products to Azerbaijan in the previous Iranian year (from March 21, 2023, through March 19, 2024) amounted to 776,000 tons worth $624 million. Iran's non-oil exports to Azerbaijan in the previous Iranian year decreased by 4.6 percent in value terms and increased by 1.4 percent.
