Iran sees increase in non-oil exports to Kyrgyzstan

BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 21. Iran's non-oil exports to Kyrgyzstan increased by 47 percent in value and 20.5 percent in weight during the six months of the current Iranian year (from March 20 through September 21, 2024) compared to the same period last year (from March 21 through September 22, 2023).

The data obtained by Trend from the country's Customs Administration shows that Iran exported 30,300 tons of non-oil products worth $43.3 million to Kyrgyzstan during six months.

However, the statistics indicate that for the same period last year, Iran's export of non-oil products to Kyrgyzstan amounted to 25,100 tons worth $29.4 million.

The statistics note that for six months Iran exported to Kyrgyzstan mainly petrochemical products, and agricultural and industrial products.

To note, Iran's exports of non-oil products for six months of the current Iranian year amounted to 67.7 million tons worth more than $24.1 billion. Iran's exports of non-oil products increased by 2.62 percent in value and decreased by 29 percent in weight compared to the same period last year.
