BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 12. Iran's Jask oil terminal is set to be launched in the current Iranian year (from March 21, 2025, through March 20, 2026), said Touraj Dehqani, CEO of Pars Oil and Gas Company (POGC), Trend reports.
Speaking to the media at the 29th Iran International Oil, Gas, Refining, and Petrochemical Exhibition, Dehqani noted that physical work on the Gure-Cask oil pipeline project has progressed to around 70-80 percent, with investments totaling $1 million.
He emphasized that both the Jask oil terminal and the Goreh-Jask pipeline are significant projects for Iran.
The full construction of the Goreh-Jask pipeline, stretching over 1,000 kilometers from the Goreh oil terminal in Bushehr province to the Jask station on the shores of the Oman Gulf, is part of Iran's National Oil Company's agenda. The project, with a budget of over $1.8 billion, has been entrusted to local manufacturers and contracting companies. This pipeline is expected to transport 1 million barrels of crude oil daily.
