The Iran Mercantile Exchange (IME) offers the following products and goods for Jan. 3:
Oil and petrochemical trading floor: Offers 105,656 tons of various chemicals, bitumen, vacuum bottom and sulphur.
Industrial and minerals trading floor: Offers 10 kilograms of gold bullion.
Agriculture floor: Offers 227,000 day-old chickens, 1,600 tons of sugar, and 5,172 tons of corn.
Furthermore, the side market of IME also offers 20,000 tons of apples and 2,000 tons of phosphate concentrate and 10 tons of lactic butter.
The IME was founded in 2007. It trades in agricultural, industrial and petrochemical products in spot and futures markets.
There are 70 listed brokerage companies in IME who are members of the exchange licensed by the market regulator, the Securities and Exchange Organization.
