BAKU, Azerbaijan, February 25. Iran's Fajr Jam Gas Refining Company exported 2.34 million barrels of gas condensate during the 11 months of the current Iranian year (from March 20, 2024, through February 18, 2025), the Director of the Export Terminal of Fajr Jam Gas Refining Company Jamshid Khajehzadeh told reporters, Trend reports.
He said that the specified volume of gas condensate was exported in eight cargo shipments.
Khajehzadeh mentioned that Fajr Jam Gas Refining Company produces 60,000 barrels of gas condensate daily, and the produced gas condensate is pumped into Siraf port storage tanks, which have a capacity of one million barrels, via a 57 km long, 10-inch pipeline.
The official noted that once the gas condensate reaches the required level, it is loaded onto a ship and sent abroad according to external demand.
"A whopping 300 billion rials (approximately $519,000) has been spent on the development of the Fajr Jam Gas Refining Company terminal at Siraf port," he pointed out.
He added that since the terminal became operational, Fajr Jam Gas Refining Company has exported 1,353 cargo shipments of gas condensate to various countries.
Fajr Jam Gas Refining Company's gas condensate terminal is located in the Kangan district of Bushehr Province in southern Iran.
