Iraqi court made a decision shortening the imprisonment period of journalist Muntazir az-Zeydi, who threw boots to George Bush, up to one year, Al Jazeera reported.
Formerly the court sentenced az-Zeydi to three years in prison.
29 years old journalist of Al-Bagdadiyya television channel, az-Zeydi acquired world popularity and became national hero of Iraq after on December 14 last year in Baghdad, he threw his boots to the U.S. President at the joint press conference of the Head of the White House and Prime Minister of Iraq Nouri al-Maliki.
