The export of cars from Turkey to Turkmenistan dropped by 3.77 percent from January through September 2020 compared to the same period of 2019, having reached $15.9 million, the Turkish Trade Ministry told Trend.
In September 2020, Turkey exported cars worth $1.2 million to Turkmenistan, which is 47.06 percent less compared to September 2019, said the ministry.
According to the ministry, from January through September 2020 the export of cars made up 15.7 percent of the country’s total export volume.
In September 2020, Turkey exported cars worth $2.6 billion to the world markets, which is 24 percent less compared to the same month of 2019, the ministry said.
The export of Turkey’s cars in September 2020 accounted for 17.5 percent of the country's total export volume.
Over the past 12 months (from September 2019 through September 2020), Turkey exported cars worth over $25.1 billion abroad.
