The value of steel exports from Turkey to Uzbekistan in the first nine months of 2021 considerably grew, Trend reports on Oct.19 referring to the Turkish Ministry of Trade.
According to the ministry, this indicator amounted to $61 million, up by 1.5 times on annual basis.
In September this year, steel exports from Turkey to Uzbekistan reached $6 million, which is 1.2 times more than in the same month of 2020, the ministry said.
Besides, from January through September 2021, Turkey’s steel exports increased by 77.5 percent compared to the same period last year up to $15.8 billion.
In the ninth month of 2021, Turkey exported steel worth $2.6 billion, which is 1.4 times more than in September 2020.
Over the past 12 months (from September 2020 through September 2021), Turkish steel exports amounted to $19.5 billion.
