BAKU, Russia, April 19. Türkiye reduced its chemical exports to Russia by 32.4 percent year-on-year to $310 million from January through March 2024, Trend reports via the Turkish Trade Ministry.
"In March 2024, Turkish chemical product exports to Russia decreased by 30.7 percent compared to the same month in 2023 and amounted to $118 million," the ministry said.
Türkiye increased its chemical exports to global markets by 7.7 percent year-on-year to $8 billion from January through March 2024.
In March 2024, Turkish chemical exports to world markets increased by 5.7 percent compared to the same month in 2023, to $3 billion.
In the last 12 months (from March 2023 through March 2024), Türkiye exported chemical products worth $31.1 billion.
