BAKU, Azerbaijan, January 8. In 2024, Türkiye's earnings from chemical exports to Egypt shot up by a whopping 59.7 percent compared to the previous year, reaching a tidy sum of $810.4 million.
Data obtained by Trend from the Turkish Ministry of Trade indicates that Türkiye exported $86 million worth of chemicals to Egypt in December 2024, which is 10.5 percent more than in the same month of 2023.
It is noteworthy that Türkiye's aggregate chemical exportation
metrics for the previous fiscal year exhibited a one percent uptick
relative to 2023, culminating in a total valuation of $30.7
billion.
In December of the previous fiscal year, the nation recorded a
chemical export valuation of $2.6 billion, reflecting a decrease of
1.4 percent relative to the figures from December 2023.
In the preceding 12-month period, spanning from December 2023 to
December 2024, Türkiye's chemical exports reached a substantial
valuation of $30.7 billion.
