BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 17. Azerbaijan's gross domestic product (GDP) amounted to 50.09 billion manat ($29.46 billion) from January through May 2025, which is 1.5 percent more than in the same period last year.
The data obtained by Trend from the State Statistics Committee shows that the added value in the oil and gas sector of the economy decreased by three percent, in the non-oil and gas sector - it increased by 3.9 percent.
As many as 36.2 percent of production of GDP accounted for industry, 9.9 percent - trade, repair of vehicles, seven percent - transport and storage, 6.2 percent - construction, four percent - agriculture, forestry and fishing, 2.8 percent - tourist accommodation and public catering, 1.8 percent - information and communication industries, 21.7 percent - other industries; net taxes on production and import amounted to 10.4 percent of GDP.
GDP per capita equaled 4,896 manat ($2,880).
