One of Azerbaijan’s huge trade centers is in fire (UPDATED-8)

Azerbaijan, Baku, Dec. 21 / Trend , S.Kazimli/ Two employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situation have been injured as a result of the fire in Sadarak Trade Centre of Azerbaijan and have been taken to toxicological department of Central Clinic Hospital, Rauf Nagiyev, deputy chief doctor of the Central Ambulance of Baku, told Trend . They have been diagnosed as poisoning with carbon monoxide. "Other two employees of the Ministry are at the hospital 3. They have got slight injuries," Nagiyev said.

A fire took place in one of huge trade centers of Azerbaijan - Sadarak in the morning on Dec. 21. Several people working in the trade centre were injured. They were aided at the place.

A special fire fighting helicopter of the Ministry joined to extinguish the fire. The helicopter released special liquid over the territory, covered by the fire and flew, perhaps for refueling.

The fire covered 1,200-1,400 sq.m of the territory, Etibar Mirzoyev, the Azerbaijani Deputy Minister of Emergency Situation, told journalists. "Bascially, the fire covered inflammable objects, including clothes and plastic products," he said

Mirzoyev said that reasons of this fire will be specified after end of investigations. The Minister of Emergency Situation received information about he fire at 11.00a.m. on Dec. 21, he said.
