Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs, visited the ancient Gala village
near Baku during her visit to Azerbaijan.
Romanowski visited the Ethnography Museum, where she was told about the existence tolerance, which has deep historical roots in Azerbaijan. Romanowski was admired with the ancient history of the Gala village, which is over 5,000 years old.
The purpose of Romanowski's visit to Azerbaijan is to attend the Intercultural Dialogue as Basis for Peaceful Co-Existence and Sustainable Development in Europe and Neighboring Regions conference taking place in Baku on 2 and 3 Dec. Council of Europe and Azerbaijani Culture and Tourism Ministry are the organizers of the conference.
