Georgian parliamentary speaker said Denmark backs the country's NATO accession.
"Denmark is one of the three countries that supports Georgia in all Western organizations; first and foremost, NATO," Georgian Parliamentary Speaker David Bakradze told reporters in Denmark.
In recent years, Georgia's efforts to join NATO have been supported by Danish officials, he said.
"I hope the election of the new NATO Secretary General will contribute to Denmark's increasing role in the organization's agencies and the country will further support Georgia," Bakradze said.
"Copenhagen's support was obvious at all the organization's meetings," Bakradze said.
He said Denmark's support is also important in terms of restoring Georgia's territorial integrity.
"It must first of all be reflected in EU-Russian relations. I think Denmark's position on the issue is clear and supportive," Bakradze said.
Bakradze held its last meeting in Denmark with Danish politicians and experts.
The meeting focused on Georgia's domestic policy.
The Georgian delegation has already left for Finland.
The delegation will hold meetings with country officials from April 3.
