Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has signed an order to appoint Dashgin Shikarov the ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of Azerbaijan to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, the official website of the Azerbaijani President reported.
Upon another presidential order, Shikarov was conferred a diplomatic rank of ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary.
Prior to this appointment, Dashgin Shikarov served as chargé d'affaires of Azerbaijan in Pakistan.
