FIA president to arrive in Georgia

President of the International Automobile Federation (FIA) Jean Todt will arrive in Georgia today. As the Georgian Youth and Sports Ministry told Trend, during the visit he will hold meetings with officials in Tbilisi and Batumi, including with Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili.
FIA president to arrive in Georgia

President of the International Automobile Federation (FIA) Jean Todt will arrive in Georgia today. As the Georgian Youth and Sports Ministry told Trend, during the visit he will hold meetings with officials in Tbilisi and Batumi, including with Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili.

On the first day of his two-day visit Todt will visit Batumi to become familiarized with racing motorway construction projects, as well as "A category" carting roadways. Head of Adjara Levan Varshalomidze will give him a tour of the construction.

Todt will attend a presentation of the Rustavi highway on April 22. He will hold meetings with Youth and Sports Minister Minister Lado Vardzelashvili and Regional Development and Infrastructure Minister Ramaz Nikolaishvili.

The FIA president will give a press conference on the results of his visit at the Radisson Blu Iveria Hotel.
