BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 2. A joint statement
was adopted during the meeting of government heads of Organization
of Turkic States (OTS) member countries in Baku, Azerbaijan’s Prime
Minister Ali Asadov said during today's session of government heads
and vice presidents of OTS member states, Trend reports.
The prime minister noted that the meeting featured important
discussions on further expanding cooperation within the OTS,
developing economic and trade relations, strengthening joint
activities in transportation and energy, and deepening
collaboration in other areas.
“The discussions once again demonstrated that the fraternal
relations and mutual trust among our countries provide a solid
foundation for further development of cooperation within the
organization,” Asadov stressed.
He added that the text of the joint statement had undergone
thorough coordination with all stakeholders via diplomatic avenues
prior to its ratification by vote at the end of the meeting.
