BAKU, Azerbaijan, January 6. Iran's gasoline production during the ninth month of the Iranian year (from November 21 through December 20, 2024) has increased by 10 million liters, or 11 percent, compared to the same period last year (from November 22 through December 21, 2023), Trend reports, citing Iran's Ministry of Petroleum.

Moreover, an average of 107 million liters of gasoline were produced daily in Iran during the reporting period. In contrast, the same month in the previous year saw a daily production of 97 million liters.

Additionally, the Ministry of Petroleum set a daily production target of 94 million liters for the ninth month. However, the actual production exceeded this target by 13 million liters.

This increase in gasoline production reflects positive trends in Iran’s energy sector over the past few months.
