BAKU, Azerbaijan, January 9. Azerbaijan produced 3,100 square meters of carpets and carpet products from January through November last year.

Data obtained by Trend from the country's State Statistics Committee shows that this represents a decrease of 0.100 square meters, or a 3.1 percent decline, compared to the same period in 2023.

Meanwhile, the country's stock of finished products amounted to 5,500 square meters as of December 1, 2024.

Additionally, the total value of products produced in Azerbaijan's textile, clothing, leather, fur, and footwear industries reached 458.3 million manat ($269.5) during the first eleven months of 2024. This was marked by an increase of 28.6 percent in clothing, leather, and footwear production; a 7.6 percent rise in footwear; and a 6.4 percent decline in the textile sector.
