ASTANA, Kazakhstan, April 11. A total of 143 new passenger cars will be purchased in 2024, and in 2025 this number will increase to 226, said the Deputy Minister of Transport of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Satzhan Ablaliyev, during a working trip to the Aktobe region, Trend reports.
According to the information, during his visit to the Aktobe region Deputy Minister of Transport met with residents and held a reception for citizens on personal issues.
Ablaliyev noted that the renewal of rolling stock will affect the trains passing through Aktobe, including on the route Almaty - Saratov, which will use cars of domestic production.
“This year, seven railway stations in the Aktobe region will also be upgraded: Aktobe, Kandyagash, Shalkar, Zhem, Karauylkeldy, Alga, and Shubarkuduk. Additionally, 95 new buses are planned to be purchased, and international routes connecting the city to Russia will be developed,” the information notes.
During the meeting with residents, the local population raised issues regarding the repair of the "Kandyagash – Shalkar" road, the need to account for the migration routes of saiga antelopes when designing road infrastructure, the increase in carriages for people with disabilities, and aviation development.
In the course of the meeting with residents, the Deputy Minister of Transport answered all citizens' questions regarding sectors under the ministry's jurisdiction, such as road construction, transport and logistics, civil aviation, and more.
