ASTANA, Kazakhstan, May 3. At the Consulate General of the Republic of Kazakhstan in China’s Xi’an, Deputy Akim (Governor) of the Aktobe Region of Kazakhstan, Abzal Abdukarimov held a series of bilateral meetings with representatives of Chinese businesses, Trend reports.
As part of the visit, a meeting took place with the leadership
of Non-metallic Flexible Composite Pipes, a company specializing in
the production of reinforced pipeline solutions for transporting
oil, gas, water, and other substances under high load, pressure,
and corrosive environments. The company is actively developing
technologies for the construction and oil and gas industries.
"Negotiations were also held with representatives of Telie Valie
Group — one of the leading manufacturers of industrial valves in
China. Founded in 1980, the company is engaged in research and
development, production, and sales of shut-off and control valves.
The company operates two plants in Zhejiang and Shanghai, with a
total area of 38,000 m², employing 380 staff members, including 42
engineers. The company's products cover a wide temperature range —
from -196°C to +600°C," the press service of the Aktobe regional
administration reported.
Moreover, Abdukarimov met with representatives of Shaanxi Wantuobang Industrial Co., Ltd., which operates in the natural gas processing sector. The company produces up to 200,000 tons of liquefied natural gas (LNG) annually and is one of the largest suppliers of compressed natural gas (CNG) for industrial enterprises in China.
In the course of all the meetings, the parties discussed
opportunities for investment cooperation and localization of
production in the Aktobe Region of Kazakhstan.
In 2024, the volume of Chinese investments in the economy of
Kazakhstan amounted to almost $2 billion, which is 16 percent more
compared to 2023. About 5,000 enterprises with Chinese capital are
operating in Kazakhstan, implementing 45 major investment projects
worth $14.5 billion.
